Hurricane Helene

On September 27, 2024, Hurricane Helene made land fall, impacting the Southeastern United States. From Florida to the Appalachia Coal Fields.
The High Country and Western North Carolina saw record flooding. Not since the flood of 1940 has our area seen such devastation.
