Rutherwood Baptist Church,142 Don Hayes Road, Boone. Saturday, May 19th from 9AM to 2PM. Registration is from 9AM to 11AM. $20 per entry. Trophies and plaques awarded at 1PM. Call 828-264-5319 for more information. Food available, raffle tickets for handmade quilt, door prizes, youth sponsored events for children. Proceeds benefit building fund & youth summer mission trip.
Our Three Forks Team plans to visit
Western Pennsylvania
May 27-29. Let's ask the Lord how we can assist a new church in that area. Seth Norris, Harold Bennett and Homer Murdock will meet with Doug Pilot and view three sites for aiding church plants in Western Pennsylvania, including Pittsburg. This Kingdom venture was proposed to the Association by our Missions Development Council and met with excitement. Pray that we will move in God's timing, with God's direction and resources. People cannot come to Christ without an effective witness (Romans 10). Our role will strengthen those missionaries the Lord is calling and equipping. Ask the Lord to bring our team the information and contacts we need to assist with His power and grace. Ask your church to put this in the prayer list as a priority on these dates. ..Dr. Barry Nealy, Director of Missions"
